GLAMPING TENT LINE 

This tent line provides reassurance to the consumer - through well made products, with sustainable and high quality materials. The products themselves provide comfort and security in the elements, both allowing the customer to immerse themselves in the outdoors while feeling safe and sheltered.

Product Development

My role as a product designer in a design team of 3 at Diamond Brand Gear Co. 

Ideation

  • Through sketching and user research we decided on the initial tent forms.

Prototyping

  • Prototyped different frame dimensions and design.

  • Made a final metal prototype that was used to finalize material choices.

  • Teamed up with the patterning team to work through tent prototypes

Manufacturing

  • Through CAD and well thought out costing analysis I worked with a local metals manufacturer to move the frames into production. 

  • Worked with the sewing team to finalize the canvas patterns and make golden samples.

Launch Prep

  • Worked through renderings, instructions, cost, colors, tech packs, and marketing materials all in prep for the launch.
